Subject: USASF IS ON THE MOVE
The USASF is on the move. We have added 3 all star coaches to the USASF
Board of Directors: Roger Schonder of the Stingray Cheer Company, Orson
Sykes of Twist and Shout (see the story on Orson and his gyms in the latest
issue of Cheer Biz News), and Cole Stott of Premier. These 3 coaches join
Morton Bergue of Cheergyms.com on the Board and the USASF will benefit
immensely from their leadership.
Perhaps the most dramatic update is JAMFEST has joined the USASF and
Aaron Flaker will represent JAMFEST on the USASF Board of Directors. Dan,
Aaron, and Emmitt, the Jamfest partners, are all first rate all star professionals.
The USASF Board conducted an extensive analysis of which major all star
competition producers would have the most to offer the USASF from the
standpoints of scope and quality of competitions, business ethics and
reputation, and commitment to the safety and enjoyment of their participants.
JAMFEST was the top name on the list. After meeting with the JAMFEST organization
first hand, let me tell everyone that this organization is exactly what we thought
they were and even more. They are committed to their participants
having fun, to clean business ethics, and to working together with
other industry leaders to benefit the all star community as a whole.
Dan, Aaron, and Emmitt are extremely knowledgeable about the business
and will be excellent USASF partners and role models. JAMFEST joining
the USASF is great news for the all star community.
The USASF gym and coaches membership is growing rapidly. At present,
about 500 all star gyms and 2,000 coaches have signed up with the
USASF. This makes the USASF the largest all star organization in the
industry by a large margin. The most important point is the goal of
the USASF is to be the best organization, not the largest. The all
star community is recognizing this commitment to quality, not
quantity, with their membership.
